Project PARA TODOS

Overview

Project PARA TODOS, a National Professional Development Program funded by The United States Department of Education, is designed to better prepare and support educators (K-8 in-service) to implement evidence-based practices for teaching English learners (ELs) and dual language learners (DLs).

This innovative project provides a rigorous program of study over the course of 18 months that leads to 6 micro-credentials and the EL/DL Educator Badge, for 500 K-8 educators.

This program also provides the What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) Intensive Institute as a full day pre-conference at the NABE annual conference, for 1000 K-8 educators over the course of the 5 year award period.

Additionally, The Family Leadership Institute provides training for 400 parents/caregivers of EL/DLs.

Educators will gain a unique expertise on English learner/Dual language learner education and will have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with other educators nationwide.
